Common Questions About Mental Health Treatment

We treat adults through a stepped-care model: Partial Hospitalization (PHP) is our most intensive outpatient level, typically 5 days/week for most of the day and includes group therapy, individual sessions, psychiatry/medication management, and skills practice. Intensive Outpatient (IOP) meets fewer hours per week (often 3–4 days, part-day) with a strong focus on coping skills, relapse-prevention, and real-life application. Outpatient (OP) is the least intensive, usually weekly or biweekly therapy with medication management as needed. Many clients start in PHP or IOP and step down to OP as stability improves.

Begin with a confidential phone screen to review symptoms, safety needs, history, and scheduling. If our programs fit your needs, we’ll schedule a clinical assessment, verify insurance benefits, and discuss a recommended level of care. You’ll receive a personalized treatment plan and start date; if a different service is more appropriate, we’ll provide referrals and warm handoffs. Same-week starts are often possible based on availability.

Programming is trauma-informed and draws on evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT-informed skills (emotion regulation, distress tolerance), mindfulness, and relapse-prevention planning. Services commonly include group therapy, individual sessions, family involvement (with your consent), psychiatry/medication management, and care coordination with community providers. We also emphasize practical skills for sleep, nutrition, and daily structure, plus aftercare planning to support long-term recovery.

We work with many major plans. Our team will verify benefits (VOB) before admission and review coverage, copays, deductibles, and any out-of-network options. We also offer self-pay rates when needed. You’ll receive a clear estimate of expected costs prior to starting, and we’re happy to answer any billing questions.
