Treatment for depression is highly individualized, and at Fortitude Healing Centers, we offer a variety of therapies designed to match each person’s unique needs and preferences. Effective care often combines therapy, medication, and a supportive environment to help clients achieve lasting recovery.
For individuals experiencing severe depression or those at risk of self-harm, inpatient treatment provides a safe and structured setting with 24/7 medical and therapeutic support. This level of care focuses on stabilization and intensive treatment to ensure safety and progress. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers a high level of structured care during the day, while still allowing clients to live at home or in a supportive environment. Clients participate in daily therapeutic activities and sessions, returning home in the evenings with strengthened coping skills and stability.
For those who do not require hospitalization but need more structure than traditional outpatient therapy, the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers therapy sessions three to five days per week. This allows individuals to receive the support they need while maintaining work, school, or family responsibilities. Outpatient therapy is another option for those with mild or manageable symptoms, offering weekly or biweekly one-on-one sessions with a licensed therapist. This level of care is also well-suited for clients transitioning from more intensive programs.
Medication and psychiatry services can also play a vital role in treatment. Our board-certified psychiatrists specialize in prescribing and managing antidepressant medications, carefully monitoring progress and adjusting medications as needed. Psychiatric care is fully integrated with therapy to provide a comprehensive approach.
In addition, counseling services are available to address the root causes of depression. We provide individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reframe negative thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build emotional regulation and coping skills, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients connect with their values and motivation for change.
At Fortitude Healing Centers, our breadth of treatment options ensures that every individual can find the right path toward healing and recovery.
